Maurice LaMarche PT2 EP74

Maurice demonstrates some of his unique, warm up exercises he’s created and how he executes his famous burp, like for Will Ferrell’s character in the movie Elf and in Animaniacs. We hear the advice, fellow comedian Mike Binder, gave him that’s helped him in his career to this day.

He discusses the cancellation of Futurama on Comedy Central and encourages people who love the show to sign the online petition to help save the show, again. Maurice expresses his appreciation for the fan support and hopes it will be picked up on another network or Netflix.

Maurice tells how he became one of only a few voice actors to be the voice of Popeye, reveals what he would do if he wasn’t a performer and shares what he still hopes to accomplish in his career. He tells the story of how he co-created “International Talk Like William Shatner Day” and what William Shatner thinks about it. The episode closes with Chuck and Stacey rallying viewers to create a day to honor Maurice and the IF question prompts another stellar impersonation.
