Chuck and Stacey J. finish their conversation with the Emmy and Annie winning creator of MAD the Animated Series, Kevin Shinick who talks about how he keeps all the aspects of his career in balance as well as great advice for turning what you love to do into a career by utilizing resources available to you.

Kevin reveals some of his current projects like the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special, the Scooby Doo and KISS: Rock n’ Roll Mystery movie, a panel with KISS at ComicCon 2015 and some on-camera TV work.

He speaks to his approach for writing shows that are appropriate for kids and adults while still being true to his vision. We find out how the answering machine helped develop his voice talents and what he loves about his life.

Kevin reflects on what he feels are the keys to his success and explains more wisdom he received from mentor, Tony Randall. The episode closes with a funny Gene Simmons story, the IF question pertaining to fashion and some of Kevin’s celebrity likenesses.
