Chuck and Stacey welcome to the show Tony Oliver, producer, director, writer of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and one of IMDB’s Top 20 Anime Voice Actors of All Time. Tony started his career singing and acting in theatre and now uses those skills as a voice actor and director. He shares the story about getting his first voice acting job, talks about the world of anime and the major differences between recording anime and animation projects.

As a director, Tony speaks candidly about what things voice actors do that are good and not so good in audition and session situations. He answers what some of his favorite character are that he has voiced over the years like Rick Hunter, Obscurio and Bang Shishigami.

Tony talks about the TRIBE’s new production he is performing in, Love Sex and the IRS, that opens in January 2015 at the Bindlestiffe Studio in San Francisco.

Part 1 closes with Tony offering his list of the Top 5 Things Voice Actors Need to Know and shares some invaluable advice he heard from Liza Minnelli and Emmy award-winning voice director, Andrea Romano.
